Akira – the film and the manga series – holds a part of my heart, something that I think many artists can also admit.  It has been almost two decades since I saw Katsuhiro Otomo’s 1988 animated film.  I remember two distinct feelings from that time.  One, I was blown away.  Two, art can make anything possible.
